RTRS Standard

RTRS Standard

The Roundtable on Responsible Soy (RTRS) is a civil organization that promotes responsible production, processing and trading of soya on a global level.

Its members include the main representatives of the soya value chain and members of civil society from around the world. According to the Round Table philosophy, players from different areas and with diverse interests obtain equal rights and get together with a common purpose, thus assuring dialogue and decision-making by consensus.

Thanks to this dynamics, the RTRS Standard for Responsible Soya Production was created and is applicable on a worldwide level that assures socially equitable, economically feasible and environmentally sound soy production.

See below the principles of the standard. For all details of the RTRS organisation and its standard, please check the website of the RTRS foundation.

Principle 1: Legal Compliance and Good Business Practices

Principle 2: Responsible Labour Conditions

Principle 3: Responsible Community Relations

Principle 4: Environmental Responsibility

Principle 5: Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)
